Student President

 

Dear friends, I am very much looking forward to this new academic year as your student body representative. The student association (aka AECDO), is responsible for a wide variety of things, including student events and services, student representation during faculty meetings and communication amongst students, brothers and faculty. This year, alongside our normal activities, the association will be focussing a lot of its energies on renovating student areas and improving the communication network amongst the student body.                 From one student to another, balance is the key to a successful and enjoyable university experience.  I invite you all to get involved as much as you can – take part in these student endeavours, they are for you and you alone!

L’A.E.C.D.O :

The Students’ Association (AECDO) elects its representatives who sit on the boards of the Faculty of Philosophy and of the Faculty of Theology. It organizes and directs various activities (extracurricular, social justice committee, social gatherings...) pertaining to student life.

Since the Summer of 2008, REFO (Regroupement étudiant franco-ontarien) has aimed at establishing solidarity between Francophone and bilingual students on campuses in Ontario. REFO has demanded better services, programs and better student life for French speaking students in any post-secondary institution in Ontario.

The goal of the REFO is to defend the rights of Ontario Francophone students, giving them the right to study any program they choose in French and allowing them to manage  their education
